The job of a wedding planner can be tough…really tough. With each wedding a planner has lots of people with different wants and needs to please. Its not easy trying to make sure everybody gets what they want. And for a planners business to survive they've got to make their clients happy…right.

To illustrate our point about just how difficult the job of wedding planning can be we're going to use just for fun some characters from a popular TV show.

I like a lot of other people are fans of the HBO series True Blood. We know at this point in the series that Bill, who by the way is a vampire, has asked Sookie a human to marry him. We know of course they have broken up since then… but this breakup is most likely only temporary.

Now lets suppose for our example that they do eventually decide to get married. What kind of ceremony and reception will they have? And what kind of details would the planner have to prepare for to pull off a perfect wedding day for them? Talk about a wedding planners nightmare!!

Now in our scenario the wedding planner for this particular wedding has got two very different types of people to please…humans (living) and vampires (dead). Talk about some sleepless nights for that poor wedding planner.

Where does the planner begin when planning a wedding for such a diverse group? How does the wedding planner find a way to please everyone both human and vampire?

Lets talk about some of the things the wedding planner will have to worry about.
For this particular wedding for example the wedding planner has to:

• Find out if there are there are any catering companies that cater to vampires and if so what do would they serve?
And how will you keep the human guests from losing their appetites with vials of blood being served for the vampires?

• And for music do you hire a DJ or a band…what kind of music would vampires and humans both like.

• And what about the wedding photographer does he/she need special film to capture a vampire's image. Can a vampire's image be captured on regular film? What are the wedding pictures going to look like if say the best man is a vampire but his image doesn't show up in the film.

• And what kind of venue do you choose for the reception…and the planner must also keep in mind that the time of the reception can be critical. Vampires can't handle sunlight so the wedding planner has to ensure that the venue that gets no direct sunlight unless of course the weddings at night.

Of course the example we're using here is just for fun because we all know vampires don't really exist…they don't do they?

Now whether vampires exist or not is not really the point of our little story. The point we are trying to make here is that a wedding planner no matter who or what makes up the guest list has a tough job.

A wedding planner has to juggle the wants and needs of the bride and groom the family and the guests and find a way to make everyone happy. They have to somehow find a way to put all the pieces together just so…so that at the end of the day everyone is pleased with the outcome.

So here's kudos' to all those wedding planners out there. It’s a tough job no matter how you look at it. It’s a difficult enough job just pleasing your human clients you certainly don't need any vampires in the wedding party or on the guest list!!

But I guess vampires are one-thing planners don't have to really worry about because of course as we all know vampires don't exist…. Or do they…?
